Abari rug

Durrys are Marwari type cotton carpets, with a fine texture and countless practical properties. Thanks to their very light weight, they are easily transported and stored and decorate the floor as well as the garden, they are ideal for indoor, outdoor, picnic and wall decoration. Their technique is spread throughout the East under a local name. Thus, the Durry carpet will also be found as Tapis, Tapestries, Calim, Tapeti, Trapis, Alphomra, Rugs while in our country it has the common name Kilimi. Durry rugs are woven in the countryside, on traditional looms and stand out for their very vivid colors, but especially for their varied designs. A simple Durry rug is based on one color and a border around it will give it contrast. While more elaborate they have up to 5 holes of geometric patterns, have depictions of animals or are decorated with flowers in colors that make striking contrasts. They are made entirely from natural fibers and no synthetic azo dyes are used.
